The Zometool System is a lot more challenging than the average building set. Using a simple system of spherical connector nodes and struts to model the interaction between the numbers 2, 3, and 5 in space, Zometool manages to illustrate complex concepts such as fractal symmetry, perspective, and truss systems in a fun and completely nonintimidating way. With the 246-piece Adventurer Kit, young builders join the precision-molded ABS plastic parts to create models of everything from simple bridges to intricate fractal starbursts.
